To embark on Gorilla trekking in Africa, Book your Gorilla permit in advance at least three months pro to your planned travel. You will need to have physical fitness to hike into the jungle in the thick vegetation which is slippery and muddy. Don’t forget to wear thick jeans, walking shoes, long sleeved clothes and gloves in order to protect yourself from any difficulties. Remember these are rainforests and any time it can rain, protect your cameras and the rest of the things. The lodges provide walking sticks which help to easy your trek or you can pick from the park headquarters.

They are traced where they were last seen and spotted the previous day and it takes a maximum of 30 minutes to 6 hours to locate the mountain Gorillas.
