The 2 days Murchison falls safari is a short tour that will take you to Murchison falls national park which is the largest and one of the first national parks in Uganda.
During the 2-day Murchison falls safari, you will be able to view different animals like buffaloes, lions, leopards, elephants, Uganda kobs, waterbucks, giraffes, Jackson’s hartebeest, hippos, Nile crocodiles, and warthogs, among others, during the game drive and boat cruise to the bottom of the falls.

Detailed itinerary
Day 1: Pick up and transfer to Murchison falls national park, afternoon boat cruise
On the first day of the safari, you will be picked up by our driver guide from your hotel very early in the morning to start your safari to Murchison falls national park. The journey takes about 5 to 6 hours of driving, and on the way, you will have a stopover for lunch en route and then proceed to Murchison falls national park.
Upon arrival, you will go for an afternoon boat cruise to the bottom of the falls, which takes about 2-3 hours.
During the boat ride, you will be able to view hippos in water, Nile crocodiles basking on the shores, other animals drinking water, and aquatic bird species, among others.
After the boat cruise, you will drive to the top of the falls, where you will be able to view the most powerful waterfall, listen to its roars, and take photos and record videos, among other things. From the top of the falls, you will connect to the lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 2: Morning game drive and transfer to Kampala/Entebbe
After an early breakfast on the second day of the Uganda wildlife safari, you will check out of the lodge and meet up with your driver guide to go for a morning game drive in the park, where you will be able to spot animals like buffaloes, elephants, warthogs, lions, leopards, Uganda kobs, waterbucks, Jackson’s hartebeest, and oribi, among others.
After the game drive, you will drive out of the park and start the journey back to Kampala with lunch on the way. You will arrive in Kampala in the evening and upon arrival, your driver guide will either drop you off at your hotel or drop you off at the airport for your departure flight.
