
Broadbill Forest camp
Broadbill Forest camp is a mid- range accommodation found on the very edge of eastern part of Bwindi forest national park ( the home of more endangered mountain gorillas ) in south western Part of Uganda. The camp is located on the south of Ruhijha village and north of the road to Kabale town .The camp is situated in the eastern Part of Bwindi Ruhjha sector, one of the four sectors that make up Bwindi Impenetrable national park and close to the tracking point. One can be at guesthouse by road taking approximately 8 hour drive (540km) from kampala via Mbarara KABALE and one and half hour flight from Entebbe to the close Kihihi airstrip then a hour to be transferred to the guest house. THE Camp is convenient and in an ideal position overlooking the stunning views of the Bwindi Impenetrable National Park and the surrounding area
Broadbill forest camp consists of 4 spacious and comfortable cottages all with the view of forest as well as the rift valley built in African traditional style with local wood with Comfort proximity. The camp offers single beds for Individual, double beds for sharing as well as Family/ group accommodations. The camp is raised and furnished with high standards facilities of mosquito nets, satellites, extinguishers, en-suite flushing toilets, hot and cold running showers, complementary bottled water, solar power in the whole residence , free toiletries, Towels, pillows etc. Rooms have terraces, sitting areas and wooden balconies you relax while enjoying the stunning breathtaking view of the forest, colorful gardens and Virunga Mountains. Rooms have Comfortable wooden beds with clean and washed beddings.

Bwindi forest Impenetrable national park is the best and most visited national park in south western part of Uganda in Kanungu district. The park is the home of more endangered mountain gorillas over 19 gorilla groups in the park. The park occupies the total area of 330.8 square kilo meters. There are more than 600 mountain gorillas in Bwindi national park of which 19 gorilla families are habituated . The park consists of different 4 sectors namely; Nkuringo sector, Rushaga Sector , Buhoma sector and Ruhijha sectors where gorilla trekking takes place. The lodge is found in Ruhijha Sector which is the home of three gorilla families namely; Bitukura , Kyaguriro and oruzongo . Nkuringo and Nyakagezi can also be tracked while staying in Ruhijha location .
Ruhijha sector is the best and most visited sector with beautiful view of the forest canopy compared to other sectors thus making up Bwindi Impenetrable national park. Gorilla permit in bwindi is at 600$ but it will be at 700$ in 2020 July. There are more than seven hundred and eighty six mountain gorillas in the whole world. Uganda hold close to half of their total population, and the majority of them live in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest, whereas the others are found in Mgahinga national Park.
Bwindi Impenetrable national park has different accommodations in all sectors; Budget , Mid range and luxury accommodation . The best place to visit Bwindi impenetrable national park is Feb, March , June, July , September, October and December . There are many activities to do while in the park include; Gorilla trekking experience, gorilla habituation experience, Batwa trail , cultural experience (traditional dances) bird watching , nature and forest walk, community tours in bwindi forest, Visiting lake bunyonyi and lake mutanda , golden monkey tracking in Mgahinga national park and many other activities.
