The 10 days Bwindi Gorillas and Serengeti safari is an exciting safari that will take you to different destinations in Uganda and Tanzania including Ngorongoro Conservation Area, Serengeti National Park in Tanzania and Bwindi impenetrable national park in Uganda. During the 10 days Bwindi gorillas and Serengeti safari, you will be able to enjoy views of different animals like elephants, buffaloes, lions, leopards, hippos, zebras, warthogs, giraffes, wildebeests, elands, cheetahs, gazelle, dik dik among others. You will also be able to spend time with the endangered mountain gorillas in their natural habitat during the gorilla trekking experience.

Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Pick up and transfer to Ngorongoro conservation area, walking safari
Depending on your location on the first day of the 10 days Bwindi gorillas and Serengeti safari, you will be picked from the airport of hotel in Arusha by a driver guide from Achieve Global Safaris, you will brief you about the safari and then transfer to Ngorongoro conservation area. Upon arrival, you will go for an interesting walking safari where you will be accompanied by an experienced park ranger. During the nature walk, you will be able to get up-close and personal with different wildlife animals, listen to bird species in tree branches, enjoy the cool and quiet environment among others. After the walking safari, you will connect to your lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 2: Ngorongoro crater drive, Maasai Bomas visit
After breakfast on the second day of the 10 days Bwindi gorillas and Serengeti safari, you will meet up with your driver guide to go for a drive to the Ngorongoro crater where you will descend 600 meters into the crater for a game drive where you will be able to spot animals like buffaloes, zebras, warthogs, wildebeests, elephants, dik dik, lions, leopards, hyenas among others, you will also be able to view bird species like the flamingos among others.
After the crater drive, you will visit the Maasai Bomas where you will be able to interact with the local people, learn about their culture, tradition, way of living, lifestyle, enjoy their traditional performance among others. After the cultural tour, you will return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 3: Transfer to Serengeti national park, game drive
On the third day of the 10 days Bwindi gorillas and Serengeti safari, you will have breakfast, check out of the lodge and meet up with your driver guide to transfer to Serengeti national park. On the way, you will enjoy your packed lunch and proceed to Serengeti national park. Upon arrival, you will go for an evening game drive where you will be able to spot different animals and later connect to your hotel for dinner and overnight.
Day 4&5: Full day game drive in Serengeti national park, Optional hot air balloon
After breakfast on the fourth and fifth day of the 10 days Bwindi gorillas and Serengeti safari, your driver guide will pick you up from the lodge to go for a full day game drive in the park where you will be able to view animals like elands, giraffes, wildebeests, zebras, gazelle, lions, cheetahs, leopards, hippos, elephants, waterbucks, hyenas, view different bird species among others. After the game drive, you will return to the lodge for an evening relaxation, dinner and overnight.
Day 6: Departure to Arusha
On the sixth day of the 10 days Bwindi gorillas and Serengeti safari, you will have breakfast, check out of the lodge, and meet up with your driver guide to transfer to Arusha with views of animals on the way. Upon arrival, your driver guide will drop you off at the hotel in Arusha.
Day 7: Departure flight to Entebbe airport
After a relaxed breakfast on the seventh day of the 10 days Bwindi gorillas and Serengeti safari, you will check out of the hotel, meet up with your driver guide to transfer to the airport for your flight to Entebbe international airport. Upon arrival, your driver guide will pick you up from the airport to transfer to the hotel in Entebbe for dinner and overnight.
Day 8: Transfer to Bwindi impenetrable national park
After breakfast on the eighth day of the10 days Bwindi gorillas and Serengeti safari, you will check out of the lodge and meet up with your driver guide to transfer to Bwindi impenetrable national park. It’s a whole day journey and one the way you will have a stopover at the Equator where you will buy souvenirs, take photos and then proceed with another stopover for en-route lunch. After lunch, you will continue to Bwindi National Park with amazing views of the Kigezi hills, farmlands, homesteads among others. Upon arrival, you will check into the lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 9: Gorilla trekking in Bwindi national park
Gorilla trekking,
After an early breakfast on the ninth day of the 10 days Bwindi gorillas and Serengeti safari, you will carry your lunch box and meet up with your driver guide to transfer to the park headquarters for a briefing about the rules, regulations and expectations of gorilla trekking. After the briefing you will be divided in groups of 8 people where each group will be allocated a gorilla family to trek and a park guide who is knowledgeable about the mountain gorillas. Gorilla trekking in Bwindi impenetrable national park takes about 30 minutes to 7 hours depending on their location and during trekking you will be able to view forest birds, other primates, plant and tree species among others. Once the mountain gorillas are found you will be able to spend one hour with them which gives you an opportunity to learn more about their lifestyle, behaviours, habits, take photos, watch them carry out their daily activities and record the fascinating memories to show people back home.
After a breath-taking encounter with the gentle giants, you will trek back to the starting point where you will be awarded a certificate for participating in gorilla trekking and then meet up with your guide and then meet up with your guide to return to the lodge for an evening relaxation dinner and overnight.
Day 10: Departure to Entebbe
After a relaxed breakfast on the last day of the 10 days Bwindi gorillas and Serengeti safari, you will check out of the lodge and meet up with your driver guide to start the journey back to Kampala. On the way, you will have en-route lunch and then proceed to Kampala arriving early evening and upon arrival your driver guide will drop you off at Entebbe International airport for your departure flight or drop off at any place of advise.
