How to get to Ishasha sector

Ishasha sector is located in the southern part of the park and can be accessed by both road and air transport means.

When using road transport means, you will drive from Kampala via Masaka, Mbarara and then to Ishasha sector which takes about 8 to 9 hours’ drive.

You can also contact Ishasha sector from Mweya peninsula which takes about 1 to 2 hours and Bwindi impenetrable national park which takes about 2 to 3 hours’ drive.

Ishasha sector can also be accessed by air transport means whereby you will book scheduled or charter flights with Aero link Uganda or bar aviation from Entebbe international airport or Kajjansi airfield to Kihihi or Mweya airstrips and then connect to the park headquarters by road.
