The 6 days Uganda gorilla, wildlife and white water rafting safari is an interesting safari that will take you to Jinja where you will be able to engage in white water rafting and source of the Nile boat ride. The 6 days Uganda gorilla, wildlife and white water rafting safari will also take you to Lake Mburo national park where you will be able to view animals like leopards, buffaloes, Uganda kobs, waterbucks, warthogs, giraffes, zebras among others during the game drive and walking safari. During the safari, you will also visit Bwindi impenetrable national park where you will be able to spend time with the endangered mountain gorillas in their natural environment.

Detailed itinerary
Day 1: Pick up and transfer to Bwindi impenetrable national park
Depending on your location on the first day of the 6 days Uganda gorilla, wildlife and white water rafting safari, you will be welcomed by our driver guide who will brief you about the safari and then start the journey to Bwindi impenetrable national park. On the way you will have a stopover for en-route lunch and then proceed to Bwindi national park with great views of the farmlands, Kigezi hills, tea plantations among others. Upon arrival, you will connect to your lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 2: Gorilla trekking in Bwindi national park
Gorilla trekking,
After an early breakfast on the second day of the 6 days Uganda gorilla, wildlife and white water rafting, you will carry your lunch box and meet up with your driver guide to transfer to the park headquarters for a briefing about the rules, regulations and expectations of gorilla trekking. After the briefing you will be divided in groups of 8 people where each group will be allocated a gorilla family to trek and a park guide who is knowledgeable about the mountain gorillas. Gorilla trekking in Bwindi impenetrable national park takes about 30 minutes to 7 hours depending on their location and during trekking you will be able to view forest birds, other primates, plant and tree species among others. Once the mountain gorillas are found you will be able to spend one hour with them which gives you an opportunity to learn more about their lifestyle, behaviors, habits, take photos, watch them carry out their daily activities and record the fascinating memories to show people back home.
After a breath-taking encounter with the gentle giants, you will trek back to the starting point where you will be awarded a certificate for participating in gorilla trekking and then meet up with your guide to return to the lodge for an evening relaxation, dinner and overnight.
Day 3: Transfer to Lake Mburo national park-walking safari
On the third day of the 6 days Uganda gorilla, wildlife and white water rafting safari, you will have breakfast and meet up with your driver guide to transfer to Lake Mburo national park which takes about 3-4 hours’ drive. Upon arrival, you will check into the lodge for lunch where after you will go for a walking safari where you will get up-close and personal with different wildlife species, listen to sweet sounds of bird species singing in trees, enjoy the cool breeze among others. After the nature walk, you will return to the lodge for an evening relaxation, dinner and overnight.
Day 4: Morning game drive and transfer to Jinja
After an early breakfast on the fourth day of the 6 days Uganda gorilla, wildlife and white water rafting safari, your driver guide will pick you up from the lodge to go for a morning game drive where you will be able to spot different animals including buffaloes, giraffes, leopards, waterbucks, Uganda kobs, bushbucks, topi, warthogs, zebras, impalas, elands among others. After the game drive, you will drive out of the park and start the journey to Jinja with en-route lunch and a stopover at the Equator where you will take photos, buy souvenirs and then proceed to Jinja arriving early evening and upon arrival, you will check into the lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 5: White water rafting experience
On the fifth day of the 6 days Uganda gorilla, wildlife and white water rafting safari, you will have breakfast and then meet up with your driver guide to for white water rafting adventure which will start with a briefing about the rule, regulations and expectations. After the briefing, you start the rafting adventure which has different grades that range from Grade 1 to Grade 5. After white water rafting experience, you will return to the lodge for an evening relaxation, dinner and overnight.
Day 6: Source of the Nile boat ride and departure to Entebbe
On the last day of the 6 days Uganda gorilla, wildlife and white water rafting safari, you will have breakfast at leisure, check out of the lodge and meet up with your driver guide to go for a boat cruise to the source of the Nile where you will view beautiful landscape, scenery, bird species among others. After the source of the Nile boat ride, you will meet up with your driver guide to transfer back to Entebbe with en-route lunch on the way. Upon arrival, your driver guide will drop you off at Entebbe International airport for your departure flight or drop off at any place of advise.
