Gorilla Bluff Lodge is a mid-range accommodation found in the Buhoma sector lodge in the Northern Bwindi National Park in Kanungu District south southwestern part of Uganda. The lodge is situated close to the tracking point, in the perfect base for a getaway into Bwindi impenetrable national park (the home to almost half of the remaining mountain gorillas in the whole world for Gorilla Trekking activity. One can be at the lodge by road transport from Kampala / Entebbe which takes about  9-10 hours (480 kilometers)  drive while flying from Entebbe International Airport to the close Kihihi airstrip takes 1-2 hours then an hour and a half drive to be transferred to the Lodge. The lodge is business friendly and convenient to tourists and travelers for a safari adventure and relaxation with its beautiful views of the forest canopy and surrounding areas.

Gorilla Bluff Lodge is comprised of 8 spacious and comfortable overlooking the forest canopy that reflects  African building style with comfort. Rooms are well decorated, elevated, and furnished with en suite private facilities of flushing toilets, bathroom hot and cold showers, mosquito nets, free toiletries, slippers, complimentary bottled water, and many more facilities.   Rooms have large sitting areas and private balconies overlooking the breathtaking views of the beautiful Forest canopy and surrounding farm landscape.  Rooms have excellent and clean Comfortable poster bed with clean and washed beddings.   Rooms vary in Different sizes with single beds for individuals, double beds, and twin, triple and family rooming options.

A dining area that serves different food both local and continental food that meets clients’ appetites served by well-trained, friendly and organized staff. Meals include; A Breakfast in the room/gardens while facing the forest, Lunch, 3 three course dinner both in and outdoor dinner.

 A well-stocked bar with a shared lounge with both hard and soft refreshments, you relax on terraces and sip the cocktails while overlooking the canopy forest and surrounding areas,

Activities to do while at the lodge include; gorilla trekking since the park is known for mountain gorillas, birding/birdwatching in the park, and nature walks in the local village.

Bwindi Forest Impenetrable National Park is the best and most visited national park in south western part of Uganda in the Kanungu district. The park is the home of more endangered mountain gorillas over  19 gorilla groups in the park. The park occupies a total area of 330.8 square kilometers. There are more than 600 mountain gorillas in Bwindi National Park of which  19 gorilla families are habituated. The park consists of different 4 sectors namely;  Nkuringo sector,  Rushaga Sector, Buhoma sector and  Ruhijha sector where gorilla trekking takes place.  The lodge is found in Buhoma  Sector which is the home of three gorilla families namely;  Mabare, Hhabinyajha and rushegura . Rushegura is the old family in the park with Nineteen members and Mabare was the first group to be habituated.  Ruhijha can also be tracked while staying in the Buhoma location.  The Buhoma sector is the best and most visited sector with beautiful views of the forest canopy compared to other sectors thus making up Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. There are more than seven hundred and eighty six (786 ) mountain gorillas in the whole world  . Uganda hold close to half of their total population, and the majority of them live in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest, whereas the others are found in Mgahinga National Park.  Bwindi Impenetrable National Park has different accommodations in all sectors; Budget, Mid-range and luxury accommodation. The best place to visit  Bwindi impenetrable national park is  Feb, March ,  June, July , September, October and December . There are many activities to do while in the park including a gorilla trekking experience, gorilla habituation experience, Batwa pigmies trail, cultural experience (traditional dances), bird watching/birding since the park has over 150 bird species , nature  walks in the forest, community tours  in bwindi forest, Visiting lake  bunyonyi and lake mutanda, golden monkey tracking in Mgahinga national park  and many other activities
