Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Kampala- Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park
- Transfer to Queen: You will be picked up by our company driver-guide from the Airport/Hotel/Apartments and he will give you a brief of your 7 days Uganda Gorillas and wildlife safari. You will then embark on a road drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park, making a stopover at the Equator in Kayabwe for a water experiment and get a chance to stand in two different hemispheres of the earth. Take pictures and check out the craft shops there for anything you might want to purchase. Proceed with the drive to the park and make yet another stop for lunch at a selected restaurant. After lunch, embark on a non-stop drive to the park. Enjoy a late afternoon game drive as you drive to your lodge. Check-in, freshen up and relax at the lodge as you wait for your dinner. Dinner and overstay at the lodge.

Day 2: Morning game drives and an afternoon launch cruise
- Morning game drives: Awake early in the morning and enjoy a sumptuous breakfast at the lodge. After your breakfast, head out for a morning game drive and see animals as they awake from their slumber and are heading out to search for what to eat. Queen Elizabeth National Park is home to lots of wild animals and you will see serried ranges of African buffaloes, leopards, hyenas, topis, kobs, elephants, giant forest hogs among so many others. Return to the lodge for lunch and then wait for your afternoon adventure.
- Boat Cruise: In the afternoon, head out for a launch cruise on the Kazinga channel where you will see aquatic animals like the crocodiles and hippos and an array of birds and wildlife that come to the shores for a drink, say the African elephants, buffaloes, warthogs and lots of others. Return to the lodge and relax as you wait for your dinner. Dinner and overstay at the lodge, as above.
Day 3: Ishasha game drive and transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
- Ishasha game drive: After your breakfast, check out of the lodge and enjoy a game drive through the Ishasha sector. Sight the tree climbing lions as they laze around upon the trees. Apart from tree-climbing lions, sight other wildlife like elephants, buffaloes, waterbucks, and many others.
- Transfer to Bwindi: Have lunch enroute and proceed for a transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, the home to the endangered mountain gorillas. Check into your lodge and wait for your dinner. Dinner and overstay at the lodge.

Day 4: Gorilla Trekking Experience
- Gorilla Trekking Experience: Enjoy early morning breakfast at the lodge and depart for the park headquarters from where your gorilla trekking adventure starts from. You will meet other gorilla trekkers and you will be briefed by the park rangers and officials, given rules and guidelines and then allocated gorilla families to track. the rangers will guide you through the impenetrable forest of Bwindi in search of the mountain gorillas. The trek can take anything between 2 hours to up to 6 hours or more depending on the location of the mountain gorillas. You are allowed only one hour with the gorillas once encountered-remember to follow the guidelines set. After the encounter, trek back to the park headquarters and be transferred by your driver-guide back to your lodge. Have lunch and relax at the lodge. Dinner and overstay at the lodge, as above.

Day 5: Batwa cultural Trail and transfer to Lake Bunyonyi
- Batwa Cultural Trail: After your breakfast at the lodge, head out to visit the Batwa community and have fun as they relive their way of life and share with you their cultural dances and songs.
- Transfer to Lake Bunyonyi: Return to the lodge for lunch and then depart the park for Lake Bunyonyi through scenic drives of the Kigezi highlands. Check-in at your lodge and wait for your dinner. Dinner and overstay at the lodge.

Day 6: Explore the islands of Bunyonyi by Canoe
- Explore the Islands: After enjoying your sumptuous breakfast at the lodge, head out to explore the islands of Lake Bunyonyi on a canoe ride. With about 29 islands, there’s a lot for one to do during the exploration. Watch out for the birds and the locals as they go about their day-to-day life. Return to the lodge for lunch and then spend the rest of the day resting. Dinner and an overstay at the lodge, as above.
Day 7: Return to Kampala
- Return to Kampala: On this your last day of the safari, have breakfast leisurely at the lodge and then depart for a long drive back to Kampala, making a lunch stopover at a selected restaurant. Continue with the drive to Kampala arriving in the evening.
