Detailed Itinerary 

Day 1: Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

Transfer to Bwindi: You will wake up enjoy your morning breakfast, then our professional driver guide will pick you up and be briefed about the 5 Days Uganda Primates Safari. Then set off to Bwindi Impenetrable national park with a stopover in Kayabwe town at the Equator to have water experiment around, visit the craft shop. After continue to drive to Mbarara town to have Lunch en-route, then you will drive through a beautiful scenery to reach the park. You will arrive at Buhoma sector in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. Dinner and Overnight stay.

Day 2: Gorilla Trekking –Bwindi

Gorilla Trekking: Wake up early have your morning breakfast, your driver guide transfers you to park headquarter with your packed Lunch box for gorilla trekking briefing. After you will meet the park ranger to led you to forest trail head in search for gorillas, gorilla trekking activity is unpredictable it can take 2 to 8 hours trekking depending on gorilla movements in the forest. You have to be 8 in number per group per trek. Once the gorilla family is allocated, you will be given one hour to watch them as they feed, play around, groom their younger ones as well as enjoying photography, it is life changing adventure. Return back to lodge for refreshment, dinner and overnight stay.

Day 3: Transfer to Kibale Forest National Park

Transfer to Kibale Forest National Park: Wake up have breakfast and be transferred to Kibale Forest National Park. You will arrive at the park in time for lunch and check in at the lodge rest for a moment.

Nature walk: In the evening, you will be accompanied by the ranger guide for guided nature walk along Bigodi swamp a great location in Kibale for bird watching such as Cuckoos, Hornbills, Weaver, Collared Apalis, Flycatchers, Black capped apalis, African pitta, Purple breasted sunbird, Kingfisher, Little greenbul many more, primate viewing such White and black monkeys, Red tailed monkeys, Blue monkeys among others. Dinner and Overnight stay

Day 4: Chimpanzee Tracking –Kibale

Chimpanzee Tracking: Wake up early have your coffee tea served at the lodge, then your driver will transfer you to the park headquarter for briefing about the dos and don’ts of Chimpanzee tracking. After, you will be led by the park ranger in Kibale forest in search for endangered Chimpanzees. Once you meet the chimpanzees, you will be given an hour to spend with them learn about their social life as well as photography. Dinner and Overnight stay.

Day 5: Depart to Kampala or Entebbe Airport 

Depart to Kampala:  After having morning breakfast, checkout of the Lodge and drive out of the park using Mbarara route with a stopover at Igongo culture centre to learn more about the history of Ankole culture, visit the craft materials and enjoy your lunch there. Proceed to drive to Kampala to be dropped off at your hotel or at Entebbe International Airport for your departure Flight.
