4 Days Gorilla Habituation Experience : The 4 days Gorilla habituation experience is an amazing safari that will take you to Bwindi impenetrable national park which is the most visited gorilla destination located in south western Uganda. During the 4 days gorilla habituation experience, you will get an opportunity to engage in a guided nature walk, Batwa cultural tour and gorilla habituation experience where you will be able to spend four hours with them in their environment.

Detailed itinerary
Day 1: Pick up and transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
Depending on your location on the first day of the 4 days gorilla habituation experience, you will be welcomed by our driver guide who will brief you about the safari and then transfer to Bwindi national park. It’s a whole day journey and on the way you will have a stopover at the Equator where you will buy souvenirs and then continue the journey with en-route lunch. After lunch, you will proceed with great views of the terraced farmlands, beautiful landscape among others. Upon arrival you will check into the lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 2: Gorilla habituation experience in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
After an early breakfast on the second day of the 4 days gorilla habituation experience, you will carry packed lunch from the lodge and meet up with your driver guide to transfer to the park headquarters for a gorilla habituation briefing. After the briefing you will start trekking in the jungle which takes a whole day. During trekking you will be able to view other wildlife species, other primates, variety of bird species, view different plant and tree species among others. Once the mountain gorillas are found you will be allowed to spend four hours with them in their natural habitat which gives you an opportunity to learn and monitor their habits, behaviors, watch them carry out their daily activities like feeding, playing, breastfeeding, groom young ones, engage in the naming process, take photos and record videos.
After the encounter with the mountain gorillas you will trek back to the park headquarters where you will be awarded a certificate for participating in gorilla habituation and later meet up with your driver guide to return to the lodge for an evening relaxation, dinner and overnight.
Day 3: Guided nature walk and Batwa cultural tour
After an early breakfast on the third day of the 4 days gorilla habituation experience, you will meet up with your driver guide to go for an interesting guided nature walk where you will be able to get up-close and personal with different wildlife species, listen to sweet sounds of birds singing in trees, enjoy views of plant and tree species, waterfall among others.
After the nature walk, you will return to the lodge for lunch where after you will go for Batwa cultural tour where you will be able to learn about their culture, lifestyle, way of living, visit their homesteads, learn about their hunting and gathering skills, enjoy their local dishes, traditional entertainments among others. After the Batwa cultural tour, you will transfer back to the lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 4: Departure flight to Entebbe
After breakfast on the last day of the 4 days gorilla habituation experience, you will check out of the lodge and meet up with your driver guide to transfer to Kisoro airstrip for your domestic flight to Entebbe International airport.
