Day 1: Transfer from Kampala to Murchison falls national park- Rhino trekking

However, you need to arrive as early as possible at least before 10:00am to create enough time for a transfer to Murchison falls national park which requires 6 hours road drive. Well, along the way to Murchison falls, you will stopover at Ziwa rhino sanctuary for white rhino trekking then proceed to Masindi town for a late lunch. After lunch, you will be driven direct to Murchison falls national park via top of falls to express the feeling of a cool breathe from the water fall and head to the lodge for check in, dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Game drive and Boat cruise in Murchison falls national park

Full day wildlife viewing safari: On day 2 of 12 days Uganda gorilla trekking & wildlife safari tour, you will be served with an early breakfast and then head out of the lodge for a game drive with in the largest and oldest national park in Uganda that harbors the most powerful waterfall in the whole world. During the game drive in Murchison falls national park, you will be able to view a good number of wildlife species including the big 4 game (Lions, Elephants, Buffaloes, giraffes) and other mammals such as Uganda kob, Leopards, warthogs and a good number of bird species. After game drive, return for a lunch break at the lodge and embark on an afternoon boat cruise upstream to the base of Murchison waterfall for an opportunity to watch closely the magnificent waterfall. Keep the eyes at the shore as well for an opportunity to view several wildlife including Hippos, elephants, buffaloes, and water birds among others. After boat cruise, there is a 45minutes hike to summit the top of water fall but this is always optional activity as it’s done according to the fitness level of the tourist.
