6 Days Rwanda Gorillas, Chimps & lake Kivu  safari is a magnificent safari that will see you travel to Kigali, visit Nyungwe forest national park, Volcanoes National Park for gorilla trekking and lake Kivu. Day 1: Arrival in Kigali

Upon arrival at Kanombe airport in Kigali, our guide/driver will welcome you to Rwanda, the land of a thousand hills. Our guide will drive you to your hotel and check in to start off the 6 Days Rwanda Gorillas, Chimps & Kivu. Our accommodation range from luxury, moderate, budget, Whichever you choose, you will have a comfortable stay with beautiful scenery of the area. Dinner and overnight at Serena Hotel, Radisson Blu Hotels Kigali (Luxury)/ Hotel Des Milles Collins, Manor hotel, Lemigo hotel (midrange)/ Five to five hotel, 5 Swiss hotel, Gorilla city center hotel (budget).

Day 2: Transfer to Nyungwe forest national park

Have delicious breakfast and drive off to Nyungwe National Park. The journey is quite interesting as you will see beautiful sceneries surrounding the area. Our guide will drive slowly to enable you enjoy your safari and capture the best pictures. You will make stopovers for example at Butare National Museum, Nyanza (Rukali) and other adventurous areas. Dinner and overnight at Nyungwe forest lodge (luxury)/ Nyungwe Top View Hotel(midrange)/ Gisakura Guest House(budget)

Day 3: Chimpanzee tracking and Transfer to Volcanoes National park

Wake up early morning and have breakfast then continue with the 6 Days Rwanda Gorillas, Chimps & Kivu safari. Proceed to Nyungwe forest for chimpanzee tracking with the help of the rangers. The rangers know the best spots where you can easily track the chimpanzees. As you hike through the forest, you will come across other primates like monkeys, these will excite you as you get closer to the chimpanzees. Birds will be all over and for birdwatchers, Getting a chance to see these chimpanzees is breathtaking, you will see them play, rest and others feeding. You are allowed to take as many pictures as you can. In the afternoon we transfer to Volcanoes National park. Day 4: Gorilla trekking adventure

Have an exquisite breakfast and go to the park headquarters at Kinigi for briefing about gorillas and meeting with the rangers. Hiking through the jungle will be amazing, but some level of physical fitness is required as you track the gorillas. The activity takes about 2 to 6 hours. Getting a chance to come face to face with the gorillas is adventurous; these are seen in groups as they do their daily routine work; mothers feeding their young ones, playing, resting as well as feeding. You spend only one hour in the presence of the gorillas. Later in the evening you may visit Masanze market or ibyiwacu cultural village and the banyarwanda cultural activities. Day 5: Transfer to Lake Kivu

Lake Kivu is a shared resource between Rwanda and the Democratic Republic of Congo. The lake bed sits upon a rift valley that is slowly being pulled apart, causing volcanic activity in the area, and making it particularly deep. The lake is surrounded by majestic mountains. The Gisenyi beaches offer a remarkable evening experience like swimming, beach sports and boat cruise among others. On reaching, you will enjoy a boat ride to the islands. Relax at the lake shores with a book to read and a glass of cocktail juice. Dinner and overnight stay at Lake Kivu Serena hotel (Luxury)/ Palm Gardens resort (midrange)/ Paradise Marahide (Budget)

Day 6: Transfer to Kigali

After breakfast transfer back to Kigali to conclude the 6 Days Rwanda Gorillas, Chimps & Kivu safari. You may enjoy a city tour of Kigali (optional) including a visit to the local market, museum, Gisozi genocide memorial center, etc. Your safari guide will drop you at the airport for a scheduled flight back to your next destination.
