Chimpanzee Tracking Safari highlights
Chimpanzee Tracking safari is , we travel south of Rwanda and explore the life in the rainforest. We will track chimpanzees, often getting into close contact with other wildlife species. We will explore the wildlife resident in the forest canopy on an exciting walk on a bridge raised into the tree branches. If time allows, we will visit the national museum and the cultural King’s palace to get brief history about the Rwandan history.

Day 1; Travel to Nyungwe Forest National Park
Your safari tour operator will pick you from an agreed address. Non-stop road travel from Kigali City to Nyungwe forest takes average 5 hours, but you are on tour of Rwanda and may take longer to explore and discover unique sightings on your safari. The King’s palace at Nyanza is a popular spot for a break. Explore the palace that gives a brief insight into the cultural societies of Rwanda. The journey will break again at Butare to visit the national museum that gives travelers on tour into Rwanda an opportunity to explore the history of entire Rwanda. You will check into your hotel located between the scenic tea estates and the Nyungwe rainforest that spreads far beyond the eyes can stretch.
Day 2; Tracking the chimpanzee, canopy walk
Chimpanzee tracking is magnet for Rwanda safaris into Nyungwe forest much as there are other many wildlife species. You will assemble at chimpanzee tracking starting point for chimpanzee tracking briefing and regulations to follow in the rainforest. Shortly, rangers escort you deep into the forest. Day 3; Departure
This day is return travel to Kigali City. The travel schedule is dependent on your departure flight schedule. The safari will pick you up after breakfast and you set out on 5-hour travel to Kigali City. The safari guide will escort you to the airport in time for your flight back home.
