Entebbe Airport & Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
Entebbe Airport and Bwindi Impenetrable National park ; Entebbe Airport is the international airport in Uganda and the entry point into the pearl of Africa (Uganda). Bwindi Impenetrable National is one of the oldest and largest National parks in the country that inhabits mountain Gorilla subspecies in the country. It has over 480 endangered species in the world in four gorilla trekking sectors including Ruhijah, Rushaga ,Nkuringo and Buhoma sector all the parks with a total of 14 Gorilla habituated Gorilla families.
Bwindi Impenetrable National park was gazetted in 1991 as a UNESCO Natural World Heritage Site in 1994 & mubare Gorilla family is one of the Gorillas family that was first habituated in the park. The park is found in the south Western part of Uganda and it borders the Democratic Republic of Congo next to the Virunga National park at the edge of the Albertine Rift which is composed of 331 square kilometers of both the lowland Forest.
Bwindi Impenetrable National park is a world heritage site and its habitat to over 200 species of mammals, 400 bird species, 300 butterflies, 30 species of frogs, geckos, chameleons and many more.

From Entebbe Airport to Bwindi impenetrable National park by flight, it takes only 1 hour, while by road it takes 8 hours. We can reserve a flight by use of Aero link to Bwindi Impenetrable National park Forest. There are daily flights from Entebbe International Airport which fly you to Kihihi in the north of Bwindi Impenetrable National Park and Kisoro in the south part of Bwindi Impenetrable National park.
One can eliminate the long drives of 7-8 hours to Bwindi Impenetrable National park and use a flight which takes the shortest time. Our drivers will meet you and transport you to the lodge or continue with your drive to the park headquarters. They will be able to drive until when you’re flying back to Entebbe Airport.
Entebbe Airport to Bwindi impenetrable National park flights are expensive however they save time and that’s why most tourists now days opt to use these flights.
The only disadvantage of flying is the baggage limitation which is only allowed to 15 kilos, extra is at a cost of 6usd.
Another option is to fly in Kigali international airport and then drive for 4 hours to Bwindi Impenetrable National park. The Gorilla permit in Uganda Costs 600 USD well in Rwanda 1500 USD.
