Uganda is the pearl of Africa found in the East African region, and it has a number of beautiful places and attractions to visit including Wildlife, Game drives, Nature, Culture among others. Uganda holds a wide range of national parks which have unique wildlife species and birds. The vegetation in Uganda also provides a shelter to some of these as it is vast and wide. Some of the national parks and key attractions in the country include:

Murchison Falls National park:

Murchison falls National Park is the oldest National park in the world. Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park

Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park is located in the southwestern part of Uganda. Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National park is a home to the world’s endangered mountain Gorillas species. The park welcomes a big number of visitors a day who visit the mountain Gorillas in their natural habitat. Queen Elizabeth National Park

Equator

While visiting the national parks in Western part of Uganda it’s a great opportunity standing in two hemispheres and Uganda is one of the few countries in the world where the Equator crosses around the world. The best land mark of the equator is found in Uganda on Kampala-Masaka Road, where there are few restaurants and craft shops. The other land mark is found along the Mbarara high way.

Ssezibwa Falls

The falls are magnificent waterfalls their incredibly beautiful sceneries there located outside Kampala and it has a cultural history. Buganda people have a history of woman who visited the falls and were blessed with child birth.
