The safari will take you to different destinations including Maasai Mara National Park in Kenya, Ngorongoro Conservation Area and Serengeti National Park in Tanzania where you will be able to enjoy views of animals like elephants, buffaloes, lions, leopards, hippos, zebras, warthogs, giraffes, wildebeests, elands, cheetahs, gazelle, dik dik among others during the game drives.

Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Pick up and transfer to Maasai Mara National Reserve, evening game drive
Depending on your location on the first day of the 9 days Kenya, Tanzania safari tour, you will be welcomed by our driver guide who will brief you about the safari and then transfer to Maasai Mara National Reserve with en-route lunch and stunning views of the landscape, scenery, rift valley escarpments among others. Upon arrival, you will go for an evening game drive where you will be able to view different animals like elephants, buffaloes, zebras, giraffes, lions, and elands among others. After the game drive, you will drive to the lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 2: Full day game drive in Maasai Mara
After an early breakfast on the second day of the 9 days Kenya Tanzania safari tour, you will meet up with your driver guide to go for a full day game drive in the reserve where you will be able to view various animals like buffaloes, rhinos, gazelle, elephants, elands among others grazing in the open savannah plains, view predators like lions, leopards, hyenas, cheetahs among others. In the middle of the day, you will have a picnic lunch and then continue with the afternoon game drive where you will be able to view other wildlife species. After the game drive, you will return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 3: Morning game drive and Maasai cultural tour
After an early breakfast on the third day of the 9 days Kenya Tanzania safari tour, your driver guide will pick you up from the lodge to go for another morning game drive where you will be able to view some of the animals that you might have missed during the previous game drive.
After the game drive, you will return to the lodge for lunch where after you will go for an interesting Maasai cultural tour where you will be able to interact with the Maasai people, learn about their culture, tradition, way of living, enjoy their traditional performance among others. After the cultural tour, you will drive back to the lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 4: Transfer from Maasai Mara to Serengeti National Park
On the fourth day of the 9 days Kenya Tanzania safari tour, you will have an early breakfast, check out of the lodge with your packed lunch and meet up with your driver guide to start the journey to Serengeti National Park. The journey takes about 5 hours’ drive to Isibania, the border crossing between Kenya and Tanzania and from the border it also takes about 5 hours’ drive to Serengeti National Park with stunning views of wildlife and highlands on the way. Upon arrival in the park, you will proceed to the lodge for an evening relaxation, dinner and overnight.
Day 5 &6: Full day game drives in Central Serengeti national park, Hot air balloon
After an early breakfast on the fifth and sixth day of the 9 days Kenya Tanzania safari tour, your driver guide will pick you up from the lodge to transfer to central Serengeti for a full day game drive where you will be able to view animals like buffaloes, elephants, lions, giraffes, zebras, leopards, cheetahs, hyenas, hippos, gazelle, jackals, view various bird species among others. You will have a picnic lunch in the wilderness and then proceed with the game drive where after you will return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 7: Transfer to Ngorongoro conservation area
On the seventh day of the 9 days Kenya Tanzania safari tour, you will have breakfast, check out of the lodge, and meet up with your driver guide to transfer to the Ngorongoro conservation area. You will have a stopover at Olduvai Gorge where you will be able to learn about the historical findings of Dr Louis and Mary Leaky and then proceed to the conservation area for a game drive/ guided walking safari on the crater rim where you will get up-close and personal with different wildlife animals like giraffes, listen to bird species in tree branches, enjoy the cool and quiet environment among others. After the walking safari, you will connect to your lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 8: Ngorongoro crater drive, Maasai Bomas visit
After breakfast on the eighth day of the 9 days Kenya Tanzania safari tour, you will meet up with your driver guide to go for a drive to the Ngorongoro crater where you will descend 600 meters into the crater for a game drive you will be able to spot animals like buffaloes, zebras, warthogs, wildebeests, elephants, dik-dik, lions, leopards, hyenas among others, you will also be able to view bird species like the flamingos among others.
After the crater drive, you will visit the Maasai Bomas where you will be able to interact with the local people, learn about their culture, tradition, way of living, and lifestyle, and enjoy their traditional performance among others. After the cultural tour, you will return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 9: Departure to Arusha
On the last day of the 9 days Kenya Tanzania safari tour, you will have breakfast, check out of the lodge, and meet up with your driver guide to transfer to Arusha with views of animals on the way. Upon arrival, your driver guide will drop you off at the airport for your departure flight or drop you off at any place of advice.
