The 12 days Uganda, Kenya, Tanzania and Zanzibar safari is an amazing and exciting safari that will take you to different destinations including in Uganda, Kenya and Tanzania including Masai Mara national park, Ngorongoro conservation area and Serengeti national park where you will be able to enjoy great views of animals like elephants, buffaloes, lions, leopards, hippos, zebras, warthogs, giraffes, wildebeests, elands, cheetahs, gazelle, dik dik among others during the game drives. The 12 days Uganda, Kenya, Tanzania and Zanzibar safari will also take you to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park in western part of Uganda where you will be able to spend time with the endangered mountain gorillas in their natural habitat.

Detailed itinerary
Day 1: Pick up and transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
Depending on your arrival time at Entebbe international airport on day 1 of the 12 days Uganda, Kenya, Tanzania and Zanzibar safari, you will be welcomed by our driver guide who will brief you about the safari and then start the journey to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. On the way you will have a stopover at the Equator where you will be able to take photos and buy souvenirs. From the Equator, you will proceed with another stopover for en-route lunch and then continue the journey to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park and upon arrival you will check in at the lodge for relaxation, dinner and overnight.
Day 2: Gorilla trekking in Bwindi National Park
Gorilla trekking,
After an early breakfast on day 2 of the 12 days Uganda, Kenya, Tanzania and Zanzibar safari, you will carry your lunch box and meet up with your driver guide to transfer to the park headquarters for a briefing about the rules, regulations and expectations of gorilla trekking. After the briefing you will be divided in groups of 8 people where each group will be allocated a gorilla family to trek and a park guide who is knowledgeable about the mountain gorillas. Gorilla trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park takes about 30 minutes to 7 hours depending on their location and during trekking you will be able to view forest birds, other primates, plant and tree species among others. Once the mountain gorillas are found you will be able to spend one hour with them which gives you an opportunity to learn more about their lifestyle, behaviours, habits, take photos, watch them carry out their daily activities and record the fascinating memories to show people back home.
After a breath-taking encounter with the gentle giants, you will trek back to the starting point where you will be awarded a certificate for participating in gorilla trekking and then meet up with your guide and then meet up with your guide to return to the lodge for an evening relaxation dinner and overnight.
Day 3: Transfer to Kigali for your flight to Nairobi-Kenya
On day 3 of the 12 days Uganda, Kenya, Tanzania and Zanzibar safari, you will have breakfast at leisure, check out of the lodge and meet up with your driver guide to transfer to Kigali. On the way, you will have en-route lunch and upon arrival your driver guide will drop you off at Entebbe International airport for your flight to Nairobi. Upon arrival at the airport, you will be picked by our driver guide and transfer to the hotel in Nairobi for dinner and overnight.
Day 4: Transfer to Maasai Mara National Reserve, evening game drive
On day 4 of the 12 days Uganda, Kenya, Tanzania and Zanzibar safari, your driver guide will pick you up from the lodge to transfer to Masai Mara national reserve with en-route lunch and stunning views of the landscape, scenery, rift valley escarpments among others. Upon arrival, you will go for an evening game drive where you will be able to view different animals like elephants, buffaloes, zebras, giraffes, lions, elands among others. After the game drive, you will drive to the lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 5: Full day game drive in Masai Mara
After an early breakfast on day 5 of the 12 days Uganda, Kenya, Tanzania and Zanzibar safari, you will meet up with your driver guide to go for a full day game drive in the reserve where you will be able to view various animals like buffaloes, rhinos, gazelle, elephants, elands among others grazing in the open savannah plains, view predators like lions, leopards, hyenas, cheetahs among others. In the middle of the day, you will have a picnic lunch and then continue with the afternoon game drive where you will be able to view other wildlife species. After the game drive, you will return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 6: Transfer from Masai Mara to Serengeti National Park
On day 6 of the 12 days Uganda, Kenya, Tanzania and Zanzibar safari, you will have an early breakfast, checkout of the lodge with your packed lunch and meet up with your driver guide to start the journey to Serengeti national park. The journey takes about 5 hours drive to Isibania, the border crossing between Kenya and Tanzania and from the border it also takes about 5 hours’ drive to Serengeti national park with stunning views of wildlife and highlands on the way. Upon arrival in the park, you will proceed to the lodge for an evening relaxation, dinner and overnight.
Day 7: Full day game drives in Central Serengeti national park, Hot air balloon
After an early breakfast on day 7 of the 15 days Uganda, Kenya, Tanzania safari tour, your driver guide will pick you up from the lodge to transfer to central Serengeti for a full day game drive where you will be able to view animals like buffaloes, elephants, lions, giraffes, zebras, leopards, cheetahs, hyenas, hippos, gazelle, jackals, view various bird species among others. You will have a picnic lunch in the wilderness and then proceed with the game drive where after you will return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 8: Transfer to Ngorongoro Conservation Area, Ngorongoro crater drive
On day 8 of the 12 days Uganda, Kenya, Tanzania and Zanzibar safari, you will have breakfast, check out of the lodge and meet up with your driver guide to transfer to Ngorongoro Conservation Area.. Upon arrival, you will drive to the Ngorongoro crater where you will descend 600 meters into the crater for a game drive where you will be able to spot animals like buffaloes, zebras, warthogs, wildebeests, elephants, dik dik, lions, leopards, hyenas among others, you will also be able to view bird species like the flamingos among others. After the crater drive, you will connect to your lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 9: Departure to Arusha for your flight to Zanzibar, stone town tour
On day 9 of the 12 days Uganda, Kenya, Tanzania and Zanzibar safari, you will have an early breakfast, check out of the lodge, and meet up with your driver guide to transfer to Arusha with views of animals on the way and en-route lunch. Upon arrival, your driver guide will drop you off at the airport for your departure flight to Zanzibar airport. Upon arrival in Zanzibar, you will be picked by our driver guide and transfer to the hotel for relaxation and if time allows, go for a city tour in Stone Town, learn about the history and then return to the hotel for Dinner and overnight.
Day 10: Prison Island and spice tour
After breakfast on day 10 of the 12 days Uganda, Kenya, Tanzania and Zanzibar safari, your driver guide will pick you up from the hotel, take a private boat to Changuu Island/ Prison Island where you be able to see the old giant tortoises, learn about the history and then take a boat back to stone town for lunch. After lunch, you will go for a spice tour where you will explore the spice plantations where they grow different exotic spices like cinnamon, cloves, know the uses of the spices, get to buy some among others. After the spice tour you will transfer to Nungwi and upon arrival, you will connect to your hotel for dinner and overnight.
Day 11: Zanzibar Beach experience and swimming with the turtles
On day 11 of the 12 days Uganda, Kenya, Tanzania and Zanzibar safari, you will have breakfast at leisure and later transfer to Baraka Aquarium where you will be able to feed and swim with the turtles. You will later return to the hotel for lunch and spend the rest of the day at leisure relaxing at the white sand beaches of Zanzibar with stunning views of the Indian Ocean. Dinner and overnight.
Day 12: Departure
After a relaxed breakfast on the last day of the 12 days Uganda, Kenya, Tanzania and Zanzibar safari, you will check out of the hotel and meet up with your driver guide to transfer to Zanzibar airport where you will be dropped off for your departure flight which brings your safari tour to an end.
