Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park home to endangered mountain gorillas and about 120 mammal species as well as 350 bird species. The park is located in the southwestern region of Uganda and about 9 to 10-hour drive. It takes about 1:30 hour by domestic flight from Entebbe Airport or Kajjansi Airstrip by Aerolink Uganda. Gorilla trekking is the major activity done in the park and most of visitors here, visit the park to engage in gorilla trekking experience or gorilla habituation and other activities like birding nature walk, Batwa visit among others.

Gorilla Habituation Experience
This is an incredible activity which starts with a training process that takes between 2 to 3 yours but after being notified by the park rangers that the gorillas are used to human eyes. They open the gorilla family for tourism. However, the experience takes full day with 4 hours allowed to observe them these gentle giants. Within that 4 hours, you will be able to learn about their amazing life style, feeding habits, playing, hunting and nesting their beds on the ground as well as enjoying memorable photography. In Gorilla habituation experience you will be accompanied with the researchers, doctors, park ranger guides whom you will collect with the samples of the mountain gorillas in their nature inhabitants.
You can choose to go for; Gorilla trekking activity is a half day activity with one hour allowed to watch these unique gorillas in their nature inhabitants. You will be escorted with park ranger to lead you to the forest trail heads in search
