Gorilla tracking; This is a beautiful life experience one shouldn’t miss to be part of. It can start with a briefing at the park headquarter which is positioned near to the lodge and be easily be accessed on foot. The tracking activity can take about 30 to 7 hours depending on gorilla movements in their nature environment. Though travelers are required to be physically fit to make hike in thick forest. Once you find the gorilla family, you will be given an hour to spend with them to enjoy their amazing lifestyle and picture taking.

Waterfall walk; You can take park in nature walk along this interesting waterfall walk as you hike while getting amazed of beautiful rainforest canopy, passing between ferns and orchids before emerging to watch three stunning waterfalls.

Visit Bwindi Community Hospital; You can go visit the village-supportive hospital and get to meet up with staff, local communities as well as learning about the daily challenges.

Birding; Bwindi lodge offers great birding sites with chances of seeing various different bird species such as; Black-billed turaco, Doherty’s bush shrike, Brown-capped weaver, Black bee-eater, Shelley’s crimson wing and Dusky twin spot among other.

Bwindi Impenetrable National Park is located in the southwestern Uganda region, approximately 9 to 10 hours’ drive. Alternatively, you can fly from Entebbe International Airport to Kihihi Airstrip by a chartered domestic flight lands within 1:30 hours.

Best time to visit Bwindi; The best time to visit the lodge /park is during peak season when most of trails are dry and out of slippery. The best months to gain in gorilla trekking which starts from June to Mid –September and December to March.
